Community volunteers are an essential part of Kids Help Phone. They can make an impact in many ways based on their experience and availability, but two examples of community volunteer roles are event planning committee members and event day volunteers.

Event planning committee members help Kids Help Phone hold community fundraising events. Each committee is unique, and members work as a team. Typically, committees meet monthly, with some activities in between. Each member will have specific responsibilities, and will act as leaders onsite during events.

Event day volunteers can experience the excitement of an event while making new connections and supporting young people across Canada. Their time commitment is much less than event planning committee members’, but they’re equally important to an event’s success.
