SYNNEX Canada

“Every young person in Canada can be affected by bullying, depression and other complicated issues. This not only affects these children, but their families as well… Think of the many lives that have been positively impacted by the service Kids Help Phone provides. Our job as a good corporate citizen is not only to support them financially, but to also help proliferate their message to as many people as we can so kids and families are aware that such services exist.”

— Mitchell Martin, President, SYNNEX Canada

Thanks to SYNNEX and their remarkable employees, Kids Help Phone is increasing awareness of our service among youth and working passionately to reach them in innovative ways. SYNNEX’s continued support through donations, employee engagement and events helps to ensure we’re always open, providing a safe and trusted place for youth in any moment of crisis or need.

Thank you!

The Grocery Foundation

Night to Nurture Gala offers the grocery and food industry a unique opportunity to come together to make a significant, positive difference for kids across Canada. Funds raised through the Gala benefit organizations that nurture the whole child, such as Kids Help Phone and breakfast programs in schools across Canada.

Whether ensuring kids have healthy and balanced meals, or providing youth with a compassionate and understanding ear when they need to talk, the Gala has been making a difference in the lives of children for more than three decades.

The Gala evening features a cocktail reception where attendees can browse a silent auction, enjoy interactive entertainment and purchase raffle tickets for prizes. The highlight of the evening is the signature performance. The Gala is possible thanks to the support of numerous volunteers and generous sponsors.

We’d like to say thank you to The Grocery Foundation for their deep dedication to youth across Canada!

— Jeff Macoun, President and Chief Operating Officer, Canada, Canada Life

As part of their commitment to the mental health and well-being of people across Canada, support from Canada Life, Great-West Life and London Life helped us pilot Crisis Text Line powered by Kids Help Phone in Manitoba in early 2018. They also helped us launch the service across Canada with a group of founding donors in the fall of 2018. This service allows young people to text with a volunteer Crisis Responder 24/7. Thank you to Canada Life for helping us reach more young people across Canada!

NHLPA

Together, the National Hockey League Players’ Association and Kids Help Phone are working to educate youth about mental health, with the hope of reaching more young people with our life-saving services and resources. Through our partnership, we’re creating content featuring NHLPA members’ tips on important topics such as bullying, nutrition, supporting Indigenous youth and more. The NHLPA also helps reduce the stigma around open discussions about mental health by being a matching donor on Giving Tuesday. We thank the NHLPA for improving the lives and well-being of youth!

The NBA

The NBA is dedicated to supporting the whole child — both body and mind. Kids Help Phone is thrilled to be a beneficiary of the NBA Canada Series presented by Bell, where we receive a portion of the proceeds from 50/50 draws and donated advertising during games. This all helps us spread our message to young people. And each year, the NBA is one of our top teams at the Walk so Kids Can Talk presented by BMO. Thank you to the NBA in Canada for showing up for youth!
